Mr R Vijayaraghavan

R. Vijayaraghavan is a Senior Partner at M/s. Subbara Aiyar, Padmanabhan & Ramamani, bringing over 35 years of expertise in taxation, consulting, and litigation across India. He represents major corporate groups, particularly in South India, on a wide range of direct tax matters specializing in tax planning, taxation of non-residents, joint ventures, double taxation avoidance agreements (DTAA) and transfer pricing.

He is also a trusted advisor on mergers and acquisitions, guiding clients through complex tax planning and implementation processes. In addition to his tax expertise, he frequently acts as an Arbitrator and provides valuable insights on contracts, conveyancing, and agreements. His consulting practice extends to Sales Tax, Excise Duty, and Service Tax matters.

A seasoned director, he serves on the boards of several leading companies and top corporate groups in South India, including three listed companies. He holds an MSc. in Physics from Madurai University, an MBA from Syracuse University, USA, and a Bachelor of Laws (BL) from Madras University.
